Google Classroom & Make Music
Students,
As discussed in class today, we need to get all active students in the Make Music program, as the overwhelming majority of our playing assignments will be through Make Music. Here are the steps:
Log in to your school google email address. This is your ID# @ecisd.school, i.e., 123456@ecisd.school.
Find the email invite to the orchestra google classroom for your class. This is either from Philharmonic Orchestra or Symphony Orchestra. It was sent this month. Accept and join the google classroom for orchestra.
Once you're in google classroom, I can send an invite for Make Music. I'll check and send these once or twice a day until everyone is in.
In your school email, find and accept the email invite from Make Music. There will be a very short process to create your account.
You're done!
Like we discussed, Make Music is an incredible tool the district is paying for, and we're going to utilize it to the fullest. It has tens of thousands of pieces of music, built in metronomes and playback, recording, assignments, and even (limited) built in grading and instant feedback.
Make Music has the potential to be transformative to you as a student if you take advantage of it.
